Nicole Templet was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area, and graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School in 2007. She received her bachelor's degree in English Literature with a minor in Political Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2011. After finishing her undergraduate studies, Nicole returned to New Orleans to attend Loyola University New Orleans College of Law on an academic scholarship. On the basis of her academic performance in law school, Nicole was selected as a teaching assistant for all first-year law students in Legal Research and Writing. During her third year of law school, Nicole applied for and was selected to be a Family Law Student Practitioner in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic. As a student practitioner, she pursued her passion for family law by successfully representing several clients in both Jefferson and Orleans parishes while maintaining a full-time class schedule. In 2014, she obtained her Juris Doctorate and gained admission to the practice of law in all state, parish and local courts in Louisiana.

Nicole is an active member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and Baton Rouge Bar Association. She specializes in family law matters, which include divorce, child custody, child support and spousal support, as well as wills and successions. She represents clients in the Baton Rouge area, as well as its surrounding parishes.

Nicole and her husband are parishioners of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana. She is also actively involved in the Junior League of Baton Rouge. Nicole is an alumna of the national sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, as well as a member of the Baton Rouge Alumnae Chapter. She supports her alma mater, LSU, through her membership in LSU's Alumni Association and Tiger Athletic Foundation. Nicole has a long history of volunteer work with various organizations including the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society, both of which she holds dear to her heart. In her leisure time, Nicole enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors, as well as making day trips to New Orleans to visit her family.
