David Conachen grew up in Baker Louisiana and graduated from Baker High School in 1991. He began a successful career as a Real Estate Agent and Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser after receiving his undergraduate degree and Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. David was the owner of The Conachen Group, LLC which appraised residential property in the seven parish area surrounding Baton Rouge.

David has been married since 1999 and resides with his wife and three children in Baton Rouge. Prior to entering law school he coached volleyball for six years and baseball for four years at Parkview Baptist High School. Not only is his competitive nature evident in his law practice, but also when playing golf with his friends or go-fish with his children.

After ten years in the real estate business David entered law school and found an interest in both trial and appellate advocacy. In 2008 and 2009 he was a member of the LSU Tax Moot Court teams which won consecutive National Championships. In 2009 he earned the award for Best Individual Oralist at the competition.

David is admitted to practice law in all state, parish and local courts in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association as well as the Baton Rouge Bar Association. David specializes in Family Law matters which include divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support, as well as Wills, Successions, Criminal Defense and Personal Injury.
