Kelly E. Balfour is originally from the Lafayette area and has lived in Baton Rouge for the better part of the past 17 years. He received his undergraduate degree from LSU and worked at the Louisiana Legislature for a period of time before returning to LSU to obtain his law degree. Following graduation, Mr. Balfour worked for defense firms representing insurers in suits across Louisiana. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Mr. Balfour was in-house counsel for Progressive Insurance Company amassing a great deal of experience in automobile casualty litigation.

Mr. Balfour's current practice centers on representing clients injured in automotive accidents as well as other personal injuries and criminal matters. He also has a broad base of business clients dealing with corporation law including litigation.

Mr. Balfour was recently named the winner of the 2008 Louisiana State Bar Association's Professionalism of the Year Award. He is also a member of the Governmental Relations Committee of the Capital Area United Way. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and son.
