Foolish choices on the road can lead to criminal charges

Louisiana residents will join 56.1 percent of the nation’s population for one day of celebration that represents one of the most popular days for imbibing. That includes 33 million Irish-Americans and those who identify as residents of the Emerald Isle, according to WalletHub.

Are tech-savvy millennials the worst drivers?

According to a recent survey released by the American Automobile Association Foundation for Traffic Safety, the answer to that question is a resounding "Yes." Millennials (those drivers between the ages of 19 and 24), reported significantly higher instances of risky, crash-causing behind-the-wheel behaviors than other demographic groups did. These include being more likely to speed, run red lights and use a cellphone or text message while driving.
